Yesterday, after months of work, my #RatRig v-core 4 IDEX printer finally completed it's first print. Bonus: it's a dual color print, too.
Clearly there's still some tuning ahead, but at least it prints now :)

Anyone got any ideas what's wrong with my benchy? Printed that on a second hand #ratrig v-core 3.1.
Hi, is anyone here using a #Ratrig #3dPrinter? I recently got an A1 mini to try the Bambu experience in await of their next big release but I’m reconsidering this now for … reasons. So I took a glance at Ratrig as they offer an IDEX upgrade. So my questions: do they work stable, can calibrate automatically and print without further fiddling once build and set up?

Mounting the base 3060 ex trusion to the frame is done via four M8 x 40mm screws.
All extrusions are pre cut and or drilled and tapped which is great. Very precise metal parts and powder coated. The quick connector housings fit into the extrusions on one side only, they’ll just drop in by a bit so you know you have the right one.
Okay, decided it made more sense to fit this tool board by just removing and rebuilding the entire hot end off the X gantry.
Gosh this thing is a lump to throw around!
Anyway worked out where everything is wired to so now just have to do a lot of cutting and crimping.
