Ich habe heute einiges über Jellyfin gelesen. Stelle mir das so vor, dass ich damit meine eigene persönliche Audiothek im Heimnetz auf einen Rasperry Pi (headless) mit USB-Festplatte friemeln und dann über die Weboberfläche mit Laptop, Smartphone und Co. drauf zugreifen kann.

Und dann brauch ich mir zum einpennen, keine Gedanken mehr ums Hörbuch machen. Verstehe ich das richtig?

Also ich weiß ja nicht, ob das ein aktuelles Thema ist, aber ich hätte gerade nicht schlecht Lust, meinen ganzen #Apple Kram gegen #FOSS Alternativen auszutauschen. Angefangen vom Apple TV gegen nen #rasperrypi mit OSMC, weiter über den Mac Mini gegen ne Kiste, auf der #Ardour flüssig läuft, über das iPad, das durch ein Surface Go mit #Linux ersetzt werden kann hin zum iPhone, das einem Pixel mit #GrapheneOS weichen würde. Hat jemand damit Erfahrungen? Apple-Dienste nutze ich kaum…

Wohoo it's working. The #rasperrypi zero is fetching the latest images from the #synology NAS when the frame is powered on.
Also found a way to disconnect the gadget from the frame using #configfs. That allows to update the data on the USB drive,disconnect and connect again, so that new content will be displayed without restarting the frame.

Has someone out there ever tried to get a #BambuLab Printer, remove the proprietary mainboard and put in a new board and a #rasperrypi with #klipper on it? Would surely be interesting to see the results...

Heute mal den eigenen kleinen BackUp-Homeserver in Betrieb genommen. Vier alte 500GB Festplatten, ein #RasperryPi 5 mit Penta Hat und ein Gehäuse aus dem hauseigenen 3D-Drucker. #Tinkering #NoBackupNoMercy

La setmana passada em va arribar aquesta joguineta d'Aliexpress i avui he estat com un boig programant en CircuitPython una cosa molt xula. Té a veure amb comandaments de trens, què deu ser? Dos USB donen mooolt de joc... 🚂

Here's the reason this took time to want to fix. Had a #RasperryPi 400, with the Sparkfun adapter. Got a 500, and the form factor was *just* different enough that 1 of the 2 HDMI ports was blocked. So, dangly extension time...
