This one’s basic powder is from a pack, so you just beat the egg in, add oil/ghee, and knead before putting in the sweetened boiling milk.

This is my favourite treat in Nepal. Ras Malai. It's sweet and milky, made with saffron and cardamon, and it's delicious. Very hard to find though and has to be absolutely fresh.

The good stuff is very simple but very fresh. I found a stall in the north of the city that makes it themselves, but not every day.
