Another Wazoo bootleg. Zappa always had audience participation in his shows, but this one is special and unique. First, Zappa gave some of the orchestra musicians comic books. Then he tells the audience to make some comic magazine noises as (Capuuu, Tchapooo, etc) conducted by hand signs during the time when the musicians are reading some random parts of the magazine. Very entertaining and unique audience participation, and a rare one to have! Musicly is a very good one with the petite wazoo band, but the audience participation takes up almost one of the records.

Other audience participation can range from dancing the be-bop tango to all the craziness in between.

Recording at The Grand Wazoo tour, this is a must-have record for any collector. This is only one of the many variations Zappa did during the wazoo tour.

I debated whether to keep posting my Zappa collection, starting with the originals and then moving into the bootlegs. Still, once I posted about the Grand Wazzo, I needed to make an exception!

This is an exception. A very rare box set from the Grand Wazoo tour. This box is one of the precious ones in my collection. Next, I will be posting more related Wazoo records I have because it only makes sense to do it this way.

And you may ask... why so many records and bootlegs from the same tour?
If you are a fan of Frank Zappa's music, you should know by now that he never plays the same tracks in his shows and always makes changes to them as he goes. That is what makes Zappa so collectable!

So... Following the Grand Wazoo studio album post I made, now I post the Great Wazoo box set bootleg, but more from this tour will follow ;)
