#AlignedAI is still a #scam. Regardless of any #values supposedly programmed into #AI, it still uses enormous amounts of #energy, and #RareEarth #CriticalMinerals ill-gotten through #mining #extraction in the #GlobalSouth. It still has a limited group of #creators and #owners who hold immense #power through it. It's still #stealing the #work of countless #people, with no #consent or #benefit to them. And its #output is still #random with no #concept of #truth.

How is it #different at all?

I'm glad to see the band #RareEarth getting a lot of mention in the news these days. I remember hearing this Detroit band described as "the only White band on Motown." They had a few hits in the 70s doing some stock Motown tunes.

I met some members of the band in a Motel 6 parking lot in 1990. I had just completed summer #Dead tour, and they were between shows on the county fair circuit.

Respectable guys, decent band, I'm glad they're getting attention. https://music.youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_kmxgwuMMGrP9qIdbpCeQeNsntDK9dsTXw

Environmental tolerance is quiet a euphemism for destroying a region for centuries with giant acid lakes that threaten settlements with spills every time there is a heavy rain storm, all the while the acid is working on the integrity of the damn or something or other...
