The previous evacuations have been downgraded to an evacuation warning per San Luis County OES. These can also be viewed on the Rancho Fire Evacuation Map.

Forward progress has been stopped per Incident Command. Update via San Luis Obispo County OES: Due to the Rancho Fire, residents within a 1/2mile of the 850 block of Spring Creek Way, Templeton need to evacuate now.

Yesterday there was a fire (Ranch Fire) near my house in San Jose, California. I was able to get some close-up video of the helicopter filling up with water.

Per CAL Fire BDU: Forward rate of progress has been stopped at 4293 Acres and 40% Contained. IR flight completed overnight. All areas repopulated by @sbcountysheriff
. Damage Inspection has been started by @CAL_FIRE
. Equipment will be at scene for the next few days completing suppression repair and monitoring changing weather conditions.
