Having my fellow #history nerd friend Bob over from England. Took him over to #Franeker to see #ramparts, #canals, #EiseEisingaPlanetarium which is the oldest working #planetarium (#UNESCO) in the world; university stuff like the oldest student cafe still in use in the world (although students are rare there these days); Museum Martena, which is another lovely and fun museum; #medieval and #renaissance buildings and all that in a very small and charming town.
