Begin your day with “Feel Good Fridays” at The Mecca Restaurant from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., where you can indulge in classic Raleigh breakfast and lunch specials. Later, at 3 p.m., join a Downtown Raleigh Historian-Guided Tour at Jimmy V’s Osteria + Bar to learn about the city’s rich history. In the evening, from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., visit Moore Square for the (Second) Friday Market & Movie Night, where you can shop with local vendors and enjoy a free movie under the stars. For those interested in the city’s darker history, the Downtown Raleigh True Crime Tour departs at 8 p.m. from Moore Square, offering chilling tales of Raleigh’s past. Music lovers can head to Slim’s Downtown from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. for “Early Exit with Superintendo,” featuring live music for a high-energy night.
