Il Tempo: Report: Fdi, 'M5S contro Cerno come regime Maduro'

Roma, 10 gen. (Adnkronos) - "Gravi e inaccettabili le dichiarazioni degli esponenti del M5S in Vigilanza Rai contro il direttore de 'Il Giornale' Cerno, degne del regime venezuelano di Maduro di cui sono stati sempre grandi estimatori. E proprio come nelle dittature utilizzano la censura contro i giornalisti scomodi. E Cerno infatti per il M5S risulta scomodo perché sta portando avanti un'inchiesta che sta svelando, quello che molti sospettavano: una ‘dossieropoli' in cui ci sarebbero Procure, consulenti privati e trasmissioni televisive come Report". Lo affermano i componenti di Fratelli d'Italia della Vigilanza Rai.
"Fratelli d'Italia dall'inizio -ricordano- ha chiesto che si facesse chiarezza e continuiamo a pretenderla. È inaccettabile che un programma del servizio pubblico utilizzi un consulente delle Procure per avere accesso a informazioni riservate e confezionare inchieste mirate che potrebbero risultare incompatibili con qualsiasi codice etico. Bene quindi l'inchiesta di Cerno, che non si farà di certo intimidire da questi riprovevoli attacchi. A lui rinnoviamo stima e solidarietà perché la libertà di stampa va difesa soprattutto per garantire un'informazione libera, che lo deve essere in particolare nel servizio pubblico”.

Rome, Jan 10 (Adnkronos) - "The statements made by members of the 5-Star Movement in Rai Oversight regarding the director of ‘Il Giornale,’ Cerno, are grave and unacceptable, worthy of the Venezuelan regime of Maduro, of whom they have always been great admirers. And just as in dictatorships, they use censorship against journalists who are inconvenient. And Cerno, in fact, appears inconvenient to the 5-Star Movement because he is pursuing an investigation that is revealing what many suspected: a ‘dossieropoli’ in which there are Prosecutors, private consultants, and television broadcasts such as Report.” This is what members of Brothers of Italy stated in their capacity as Rai Oversight.

“Brothers of Italy, from the beginning – they recall – has asked for clarification and we continue to demand it. It is unacceptable that a public service program uses a consultant of the Prosecutors to gain access to confidential information and to produce targeted investigations that could be incompatible with any ethical code. Therefore, Cerno’s investigation is good, and it will certainly not be intimidated by these reprehensible attacks. We renew our esteem and solidarity with him because freedom of the press must be defended, especially to guarantee a free information, which must be free of it, particularly in the public service.”

I parlamentari M5S in Vigilanza Rai chiedono di bloccare la collaborazione del direttore de "Il Giornale" Tommaso Cerno con Domenica In. Insomma, il bavaglio rosso prova a intervenire per fermare chi osa riportare notizie scomode come quella sul caso dei dossier Bellavia-Report. «Nelle ultime settimane Il Giornale ha pubblicato articoli fortemente lesivi della reputazione della trasmissione Rai Report, del conduttore Sigfrido Ranucci e dei suoi collaboratori, basati su accuse di "dossieraggio" prive di riscontri probatori», sostengono. «Per questi motivi - aggiungono - è stata depositata un'interrogazione in Commissione di Vigilanza Rai per verificare la compatibilità di tali condotte con il codice etico dell'Azienda. Si chiede inoltre se la Rai non ritenga opportuno sospendere, in attesa di tale valutazione, la collaborazione di Cerno con Domenica In, a tutela del servizio pubblico e dell'autonomia editoriale della direzione Approfondimento e di Report». La risposta del direttore de "Il Giornale" arriva a stretto giro: «Oggi il M5S chiede che io venga censurato in Rai perché non dico quello che mi ordina di dire Conte - scrive Cerno su X -. E perché il mio giornale fa inchieste. Fra l'altro senza dossierare nessuno. Direi che dopo l'editto bulgaro c'è l'editto venezuelano».

The 5-Star Movement parliamentarians on Rai Oversight are demanding that the director of “Il Giornale,” Tommaso Cerno, be blocked from collaborating with Domenica In. Essentially, the “red muzzle” attempts to intervene to stop anyone who dares to report uncomfortable news like that on the Bellavia-Report case. “In the past few weeks, ‘Il Giornale’ has published articles strongly damaging the reputation of the Rai Report transmission, hosted by Sigfrido Ranucci and his collaborators, based on accusations of ‘dossiering’ without evidentiary support,” they contend. “For these reasons – they add – an interpellation has been filed with the Rai Oversight Commission to verify the compatibility of such conduct with the company’s ethical code. It is also asked whether Rai does not deem it appropriate to suspend, pending such an evaluation, Cerno’s collaboration with Domenica In, in the interest of the public service and the editorial autonomy of the In-depth section and Report.” The director of “Il Giornale’s” response comes shortly after: “Today the 5-Star Movement is asking that I be censored at Rai because I don’t say what Conte orders me to say – Cerno writes on X – and because my newspaper conducts investigations. Incidentally, without dossiering anyone. I would say that after the Bulgarian decree, there is the Venezuelan decree.”

Il Tempo: Report: Carotenuto (M5S), 'destra italiana isterica con giornalismo libero e fastidioso'

Roma, 10 gen. (Adnkronos) - "Ringraziamo Maurizio Gasparri per averci aiutato a capire quale sia la spina nel fianco che gli duole rispetto alla questione Bellavia-Report. Nel suo insensato auspicio che sia l'Antimafia ad indagare sui presunti dossier del consulente della trasmissione, il senatore forzista ci dà un utile indizio per capire che il problema per lui e per il Governo non è Bellavia ma le rivelazioni di Report sui legami tra mafia ed eversione nera in relazione alle bombe del 1992". Lo afferma Dario Carotenuto, capogruppo M5S in Vigilanza Rai.
"Lo ringraziamo -ribadisce- per averci messo sulla buona strada per comprendere l'isteria della destra italiana contro un giornalismo troppo libero e troppo fastidioso per chi ha scheletri che vuole restino nascosti nell'armadio. Giornalisti liberi sotto attacco, come quei magistrati che ostinatamente resistono al disegno antidemocratico dei fratelli della P2 di separare le carriere".

In his absurd hope that the Anti-Mafia should investigate the alleged dossiers of the transmission consultant, the Forza Italia senator gives us a useful clue that for him and for the Government, the problem is not Bellavia but the revelations of Report on the links between mafia and black terrorism in relation to the 1992 bombings.” This is stated by Dario Carotenuto, leader of the M5S group in Rai Oversight.

“We thank him – he reiterates – for having put us on the right track to understand the hysteria of the Italian right against free and annoying journalism for those who have skeletons they want to remain hidden in the closet.
