More sparing in the use of syncopation than my style, but the melody (particularly in the first section) has a certain baroque quality to it. Similar use of chromaticism too.

Saw the word "ragtime" on a TV programme so immediately started singing the theme tune to Ragtime to my wife who proclaimed she'd never heard of the 70s kids show before and could I please stop.
