Found this video today. My folks got me a similar project toy back in the mid-80s and I used it a lot. THere were some projects I never got around to doing but it was great. Mom and Dad leaned heavy on Radio Shack for toys at times. I need to hunt down a ShackWave one of these days.

Safe to assume the cartridge is toast? Sean 🤷♂️🤷♀️🤷#retrocomputing serial stuff yesterday with a #tandy #radioshack 4p. We were fighting the serial boot loader bits. We finally got success when we hooked up a usb serial adapter and we think that we are getting some kind of weird flow control "for free" with the usb adapter on the linux side.

I just got a great ruler … or rather “print viewer”. Makes it much easier to *sift* data that came off a line printer when you didn’t have paper with alternating green and white bars. #trs80 #tandy #radioshack
