:EA DATA. SF:Has anybody had radio frequency ablation for back pain? My wife's pain management doctor did this for the first time today. She normally gets an epidural injection and then two later, lumbar joints injections. This was something else to try.
Well, we're in the ER because she can barely feel her legs and they aren't working right. She fell in the garage. We had to call EMS.
"Can't feel legs" was not listed on the discharge instructions. Has anyone else had something like this happen? It's an "ablation" so I pray to the Great Mystery that they didn't "ablate" the wrong nerve because that would take months to heal.
