After listening to people from Twente discussing a.o. driving and taxes on FM, I continued a podcast with Sid Sijbrandij, a #UTwente alum, about "agentic everything".
The contrast between "doing things for the love of it" (#RadioAmateurs -> WebSDR) and "I want results" (Sid) felt sharp.

Alex@rtnVFRmedia Suffolk UKThis headline made me do a double-take, until I realised it was #RoadSafety Great Britain rather than #RSGB (#radio society of Great #Britain) for #RadioAmateurs - TBH if any #hams *are* pulled up for #DUI (unless they are prog-rock loving #hippies who still indulge now and then , which isn't that uncommon round here, quite a few #seniors been nicked recently) its more likely to be happen due to #drugs they got prescribed legally for age-related health conditions (usually #benzodiazepines and #opiates) than #partydrugs (beware - even a legal prescription is *not* a "get out of jail free" card, and an OM who ends up mounting the kerb trying to adjust his VFO whilst driving might well be swabbed / blood tested)
