Il Tempo: La Rai chiude al ritorno di Amadeus: "Ha fatto una scelta chiara e netta"
L'idea era stata lanciata dall'amico Fiorello ma la porta della Rai per Amadeus sembra chiusa. un ritorno a Viale Mazzini del conduttore? "Non mi risulta, è una persona a cui sono molto legato ma che ha fatto una scelta chiara e netta due anni fa per approdare ad altri lidi, la Rai ha straordinari talent portando Sanremo con Carlo Conti a dei record storici", ha detto l'ad del servizio pubblico Giampaolo Rossi intervenuto a Venezia all'evento de Il Foglio per la Festa dell'Innovazione.
"Abbiamo investito sulla figura di Stefano De Martino, che non è un conduttore, ma che credo sarà una delle grandi risorse artistiche della tv. La Rai ha ampio spazio di manovra", ha detto ancora il dirigente sul prossimo Festival, il primo del ballerino e già navigato conduttore.
La coppia Fiorello-Amadeus era tornata insieme nella penultima puntata de 'La Pennicanza' su Radio2, il programma condotto dallo showman siciliano che - nel corso dell'anno - non ha mai mancato di strizzare l'occhio al collega, chiedendo tra il serio e il faceto di un suo ritorno in Rai. Al momento come confermato dalle odierne dichiarazioni sembra escluso, nonostante il coro dei due sulle note di 'Non Amarmi': "Dimmi perché piangi? Di felicità. E perché non torni? Questo non si sa. Anche se la Rai ha dei muri enormi, io non ho paura e voglio superarli".
Rai dismisses Amadeus' return: "He made a clear and decisive choice."
The idea had been launched by friend Fiorello, but the door for Amadeus at Rai seems closed. A return to Viale Mazzini for the host? “It doesn’t appear to me, it’s a person to whom I’m very attached, but who made a clear and decisive choice two years ago to move to other areas. Rai is bringing in top talent, bringing Sanremo with Carlo Conti to historic records,” said Rai public service CEO Giampaolo Rossi, speaking in Venice at the Il Foglio event for the Innovation Festival.
“We invested in the figure of Stefano De Martino, who isn’t a host, but who I believe will be one of the great artistic resources of television. Rai has ample maneuvering room,” Rossi continued regarding the upcoming Festival, the first for the dancer and already experienced host.
The Fiorello-Amadeus couple had returned together in the penultimate episode of ‘La Pennicanza’ on Radio2, the program hosted by the Sicilian showman who – throughout the year – had never failed to cast a glance at his colleague, jokingly asking for his return to Rai. At the moment, as confirmed by today’s statements, it seems ruled out, despite the couple’s song “Don’t Cry For Me” – “Tell me why you cry? Because of happiness. And why don’t you come back? That’s unknown. Even if Rai has enormous walls, I’m not afraid and I want to overcome them.”

Londra, 8 apr. (Adnkronos) - "Ogni mattina la Regina ascoltava il programma di Terry Wogan su Radio 2. Quando è partita la canzone 'Dancing Queen' degli Abba, le è piaciuta molto e abbiamo ballato entrambe. La regina si muoveva da un lato all'altro e cantava. Sua Maestà amava cantare e aveva una bella voce. Io no. Mi lasciavo trasportare e ballavo intorno a lei come se fossi in discoteca, e la regina mi diceva di 'spostarmi' perché non so cantare, e ci facevamo una bella risata. Erano momenti preziosi, vedere la regina così rilassata". Lo ha raccontato Angela Kelly, l'ex guardarobiera di Elisabetta II nonché amica intima della sovrana, in un'intervista a Vanity Fair, nella quale ha anche ricordato con nostalgia le vacanze di Pasqua trascorse con la defunta Regina a Windsor, aggiungendo: "La famiglia veniva a trovarla e lei adorava fare la nonna. Sua Maestà portava i suoi pronipoti a cavallo o a passeggio. Organizzava barbecue e altre attività divertenti e lavava sempre i piatti, anche quando intratteneva il primo ministro".
"Era una famiglia normale e affettuosa - ha detto Kelly - Se il duca, o chiunque stesse cucinando, bruciava gli hamburger, lei si metteva a ridere. Finché avevano degli avanzi da rimettere sul fuoco e finché tutta la famiglia aveva da mangiare e da bere, andava tutto bene. La Regina era piena di energia e una nonna davvero fantastica, a essere sinceri. Sapevamo entrambe di avere fiducia, lealtà e comprensione reciproche. La Regina era la mia migliore amica e mi manca ogni giorno".
Kelly ha disegnato molti degli abiti più memorabili e colorati di Elisabetta, oltre ad essere una delle sue assistenti più fidate. Si dice che le due chiacchierassero "di tutto e di più", mentre bevevano il tè e si scambiavano battute e aneddoti sui nipoti. L'ex guardarobiera ha pubblicato due libri - 'Dressing the Queen: The Jubilee Wardrobe' e 'The Other Side of the Coin: The Queen' - con la benedizione della sua ex datrice di lavoro, in cui racconta la sua vita, dalla cura del guardaroba alla creazione dei suoi look vivaci, fino alla manutenzione dei suoi gioielli. London, April 8 (Adnkronos) - “Every morning the Queen listened to Terry Wogan’s program on Radio 2. When ‘Dancing Queen’ by ABBA started playing, she really liked it and we danced together. The Queen moved from side to side and sang. Her Majesty loved to sing and had a beautiful voice. I didn’t. I let myself be carried away and danced around her as if I were in a nightclub, and the Queen would tell me to ‘move’ because I can’t sing, and we would have a good laugh. They were precious moments, seeing the Queen so relaxed.” This was recounted by Angela Kelly, the former dressmaker to the Queen and the monarch’s close confidante, in an interview with Vanity Fair, in which she also nostalgically remembered the Easter holidays spent with the late Queen at Windsor, adding: “The family would come to visit her and she adored being a grandmother. Her Majesty took her grandchildren riding or for a walk. She organized barbecues and other fun activities and always did the dishes, even when entertaining the Prime Minister.”
“It was a normal and affectionate family – Kelly said – If the Duke, or whoever was cooking, burnt the hamburgers, she would start to laugh. As long as there were leftovers to put back on the fire and as long as the whole family had something to eat and drink, everything was fine. The Queen was full of energy and a truly wonderful grandmother, to be honest. We both knew we had mutual trust, loyalty, and understanding. The Queen was my best friend and I miss her every day.”
Kelly designed many of the most memorable and colorful dresses of Elizabeth, in addition to being one of her most trusted assistants. It was said that the two would chat “about everything and more” while drinking tea and exchanging jokes and anecdotes about the grandchildren. The former dressmaker has published two books – ‘Dressing the Queen: The Jubilee Wardrobe’ and ‘The Other Side of the Coin: The Queen’ – with the blessing of her former employer, in which she recounts her life, from caring for the wardrobe to creating her vibrant looks, to the maintenance of her jewels. After the death of the Queen, she lost the representative residence at Windsor estate to move to the Peak District, near Sheffield, in a house provided by the King.
