UFFA in Trondheim has been a self-managed anarchist house since 1981. Two fires, including one in 2010 that leveled the building entirely. Members camped the site until the city council funded new construction. Still operating, same address, general assembly and all.

UJZ Kornstraße has operated as an autonomous radical space in Hannover since 1972. One of Germany's longest-running independent youth centers. When the city cut funding in 1978, the community bought the building through a cooperative structure. For five decades, it has anchored anti-nuclear organizing, squatters' movements, and anti-fascist resistance.

La Librairie du Tiers Monde in Algiers takes its name from the city's role as a hub for liberation movements in the 1960s-70s. When Algeria privatized bookshops in the 1990s, six employees collectively bought this one. They kept it open during the civil war despite death threats. Today it remains a key space for political and literary life.
