AINSLIE, ACT. — John Telek, VK1JT, located in Ainslie, Canberra, continues dialling into various digital amateur ‘ham’ radio networks, causing intentional interference in breach of Australian federal law, Australian amateur radio regulations and international law.
This is amazing. I want this on the cover of #Radcom with the express intent of upsetting the po-faced old guard of #hamradio.

Climate change denial, FT8 is the death of amateur radio, it’s not “real radio”… “Sorry but…”. as if The Only Right Way To Communicate Is Via A Pre-Information-Theory Mode! “There’s no activity … we had a great operation with over 6,400 human mode contacts” - invalidating his point. I agree there are fewer band users now, but there are many other factors contributing to this decline.
The #rsgb must be trying a novel approach to attracting youth to #hamradio: printing conspiracy theory-ladden letters to the editor of #radcom 🙄 In this month's issue: global warming is just a hoax, and WiFi routers are, for some inexplicable reason, bad.
