Ooh pear blossom ๐ธ๐ for the bun!
But it disappeared before I could record it for posterity. Jack's 14th pear blossom season begins!

Lest ye forget, Valmont Jones is still the king of chiaroscuro.
PSA, if you see your #rabbit doing this, it could be Encephalitozoon cuniculi ๐
We did see him have a fit too, but he was mainly just stumbling around, and it was easy to miss.
He is in a large group of rabbits, who live inside, and haven't been in the garden for months due to the bad weather, but he still managed to get it. None of the other rabbits in his group were showing any symptoms, so we have no idea how he caught it.
If you see this in your rabbit, quarantine them asap and get them to a vet for a blood test.
2 days later after daily treatment with Panacur (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fenbendazole) he is back to normal.
We are keeping him separate with 1 friend (who is also being treated) for company until the treatment ends.
It's scary how quickly it manifested itself, and also how quickly the treatment took effect.
Apparently ~52% of pet rabbits in the UK have this pathogen, but it is usually dormant.
It seems incredibly contagious, as one of the other rabbits that was sharing a communal area (for just a few hours) contracted it too, and got a head tilt and everything ๐ญ
She was also quarantined and responded well to treatment.
Both seem back to normal, but we will continue the treatment for the recommended 30 days.
YOU HAVE DISPLEASED ME HUMAN!!
Casper wishes everyone a happy St. Patrick's Day. He is wearing his "Kiss Me I'm Irish" necklace. He must be from the Irish part of New Zealand, since he is a New Zealand White rabbit. Casper sends his kisses!
