The Department of Educashun estimated 400-500 schools NEEDED to be rebuilt per year.
It figured there was reconstruction industry capacity of 200 per annum.
They were allowed 100 p.a.
Rishi Sunak, the then Chancellor of the Brexchequer, capped the funding at 50.
Perhaps Riski Sunak is blasé about rebuilding each of our schools every 450 years as Winchester College, his alma mater, is 641 years old?

Rishi Sunak is clear that more pupils have to learn about sums. Here's a couple of examples he could quote: 22,500 / 50 = 450 4 / 2 = 2 The first equation suggests that each of the 22,500 schools in the country could expect to be rebuilt every 450 years at the rate Sunak was prepared to fund when he was Chancellor of the Brexchequer. According to OH GOD WHAT NOW? four schools have been rebuilt in the last two years, meaning the actual rebuild rate is two per annum. #GeneralElectionNow!
