cricket_baconI was able to achieve a PR this morning in the University of Kansas Veterans Day 5K.
It was cold and windy!
People normally think of #Kansas as flat - not true for eastern Kansas or the university campus. 300 feet in elevation for this course with the biggest hill north of the football stadium.
Good to see everyone out there, to include a nice representation of veteran students, alumni, and the schools midshipmen and cadets.

Now the #NationalDemocratic movement he founded is one of ROTC's most ardent opponents, especially when it comes to being returned back to being a mandatory course for college.
The #ArmedForces of the Philippines, or rather the perception of it by the Left, has really changed drastically after the imposition of #Marcos' brutal #martiallaw in the 70s.

Numerous leftist leaders historically have encouraged military service. If you can get weapons and combat training for free, sanctioned by the state, then why not? The revolutions need people with discipline and the capability of self defense.
