Roots And Dub Grooves: Double Tiger Drops Horn-Heavy New Single “Love Garden” On November 21st

DOUBLE TIGER returns with a brand new single, “Love Garden,” out November 21st via Easy Star Records, following his collaboration with Sly & Robbie. Once again teaming with Lee Hamilton, Spaker delivers a horn-heavy meditation on simplicity, community, and compassion. Mixed by Craig Welsch, the track leans into luminous brass, warm bass, and Spaker’s distinctive blend of melodic roots and dub-influenced vocal stylings, proving that even a reggae/dub project can offer warm counterculture themes.

Long Life is a reggae album by Prince Far I, released in 1978 through Front Line. "Black Starliner Must Come" is about Marcus Garvey's Black Star Line.

AllMusic wrote that "the rhythms are provided courtesy of a studio band made up of members of both Soul Syndicate (notably the killer bass-and-drums duo of Robbie Shakespeare and Sly Dunbar) and Roots Radics, and they are, without exception, as solid and heavy as a bag of boulders." - Wikipedia

To Be A Lover by George Faith, released on Black Swan in 1977.

"In 1977, Perry again produced the song, this time for Earl George Turner. This version, also called simply "To Be a Lover",[a] was heavily shaped by Perry's Black Ark sound and effects and featured backing vocals from the Meditations and Mighty Diamonds. His first recording saw little success, but after renaming to George Faith, he released a new version of the song on his debut studio album, Super Eight (1977), which was released as To Be a Lover in the UK. More popular than any of the previous Jamaican versions of the track, it became a hit there and in the UK" Wikipedia
