I pulled this book off the shelf in my library yesterday in honor of the life of Rosalynn Carter and, reading it again and I’m struck by how relevant it remains more than a decade after its publication. Despite incremental advances all the challenges it identified remain, demanding our continued dedication and compassion. Thank you, Mrs. Carter, for the focus you put on this issue and the torch you have now passed. #RIPRosalynnCarter
