It was used at least as far back as this rather unusual, for its time especially, #play , about an old lady treated very badly by her nasty neighbors & labeled a #witch , so she decides "Fuck it, I WILL become a witch then so I can get #revenge on those fucks." It's sympathetic to her--in 1621
