De los Santos appeared in 25 games out of the Yankees' bullpen last season and posted a respectable 3.28 ERA in 35.2 innings. He did, however, allow more than a hit per inning and had an average 28:17 K:BB ratio. De los Santos pitched 4.2 scoreless innings this spring and will get some more work at Triple-A to open the year before a likely call-up to New York.
