Yaaaaaaay my Tekno EB48 2.2 is finally finished. This is the second 8th scale buggy I’ve ever owned but the first new one I’ve built from a kit. I’m happy with the paint job. Simple but effective I think and something a bit different than I’d normally try. That said this body has a lot of compound curves that I just didn’t wanna deal with sooooo stripes! Hoping to take it to the track tomorrow but may have to wait till next weekend, weather permitting.
Finally able to spend a little time on building this Tekno EB48 2.2 8th scale buggy. Building the front center and rear differential then those go into the front and rear bulkhead. Those then get built into the front and rear assembly.
This has been a really interesting build and thankfully the instructions are really good. Definitely the most complicated RC vehicle I've ever built.

What’s this? A post? I’ve been so busy with moving to Colorado from California I’ve just not had much time for projects and that’s what I like to post about the most. Well today the movers arrived and oh I have so many boxes to unpack and move and man. Just too much.

It looks pretty close to the real thing. I've no experience with 3D printed gears, might be another option? A whole other language I'm not familiar with.
It's not a highly loaded gear, at least ordinarily! Massive massive speed reduction/torque increase by the time it gets to the other end.
