@MikeFromLFE It infuriates me, and it saddens me deeply. It frequently reduces me to tears.

Since when did the people we’re paid to care for become an inconvenience?

It is so, so, so wrong.

If #RCRP means that mental health professionals are forced to actually do their job and support people in crisis, then I am behind it 100%. It can’t come quick enough.

@MikeFromLFE I have an opinion on this that may actually surprise you, but I’m in an interesting position aren’t I, given my job role. I have a foot in each camp, essentially.

For me, #RCRP is long overdue. But what it will hopefully change are the number of calls to Police FROM mental health services.

The number of calls police receive from services is absolutely astounding. When a patient calls a crisis team for support, it is their role as MH professionals to provide it.
