RetroChallenge announced the results of RC2024/10 and I'm honored to be among the winners. I entered with the WebCard project written in Interlisp, a NoteCards extension for visiting websites.

Thanks to the organizers, voters, and judges and congrats to all the entrants, especially @psychotimmy who won the Grand Prize.

RC2024/10 Results...Less than a Year Late!

With so many entries for RC2024/10 (a record, i'm sure!), and having already put in so much work during the month, I really let things slide...

The parts arrived for the white SC134 module I was given at the recent #RC2024 Assembly event. The white board looks really nice with my white RC2014 Picasso.

Are the RetroChallenge 2024 entries still supposed to get the final comments? I know they may come in August or September of the following year but the 2025 edition starts in slighly over a month and there are no final 2024 comments yet.

Judging Updates and VCF SoCal

A few updates: urbancamo and I got our act together and judged the RC2014 category pretty quickly after the event to meet semach.the.monkey'...

Final wrap-up for #RetroChallenge from me this year. Did the #ZX81 module for the #RC2014 live up to the #RC2024 expectations? Find out here https://rc2014.co.uk/3331/retro-challenge-2024-10-schrodingers-pcb/

Time to sum up progress on the #RetroChallenge #RC2024 project, as the month draws to a close. It has certainly been a success for me, though not in the way I had expected. https://theremin.org.uk/2024/11/01/retro-challenge-2024-4-in-c/

There is certainly more to come on this project and I"m looking forward to taking it (and my RC2014) on to greater things!

A quick #RetroChallenge update:
2016-Me was a careless idiot
2024-Me was a fool for trusting 2016-Me
That is all.

Getting closer to the end of #RetroChallenge #RC2024. I discovered an 8 year old footprint error. But, other than that, I think this ZX81 module *should* work in a suitably modified #RC2014.

Now I just need to make suitable modifications to an RC2014!

Wrapping up my RetroChallenge 2024 project

The end of the work on WebCard marked the completion of my RetroChallenge 2024 project, in time as hoped. I accomplished the initial goa...
