Venya (he/him/dude) 🇺🇦John Jennings, co-founder and president of #Royer Labs, was one of our guest speakers in class yesterday. Here he is holding up the original prototype #R121 ribbon #microphone. He played us lots of audio demos, told us about the many joys and pitfalls of ribbon microphones, shared stories from his career and funny quotes from David Royer. Super nice, friendly guy who is very passionate about transparent audio recording.
