Germany marks 35 years of unity, despite a persistent East-West divide.

Today's anniversary celebrates the political turning point of 1990, when East and West Germany became one nation after more than four decades of division.

However, the country’s East-West divide continues to shape its economy and its political landscape.

A few things the DDR had, but got removed by the US.

- recycling
- equal rights man & woman
- seperation of church and state (they were atheist)
- House rent was max. 5% of your monthly pay
- free education
- free social care
- Freely cross the border when you're not a worker.

The bad part wasn't 'socialism' (like the US likes to say) They lost 24 million people fighting the nazis and therefor needed an extreme law to keep workers on their side to rebuild the economy.

Today is reunification day here in Germany. But it's false, because France, England, and Russia left, but the US is (economically, socially & politically) still here in charge.

When something bad happens, the media points to the east. If it's something good, they point to the west. US propaganda is still here on a daily basis, from laws, to your phone, to political opinions.

Even today, No eastern european speakers have been invited to celebrate the 35th aniversary.
