I'm working on my next quilt project: let's go on a trip around the world!

Slightly more muted colors than my previous big quilt, but the main row will still be Free Spirit/Kaffe Fassett fabrics. I think I have decided which configuration I will choose, but I have not yet decided on a size.

3 by 5 (each 4x4 blocks) or 4 by 4 (each 4x4 blocks).

Any quilters who have experience with this quilt block?

New EPP project: let's see if I can make two small pillow cases with these hexagons.

Each pillow case will use 67 hexies, 5 rows of 7 and 4 rows of 8.

After the takeover of our company by another competitor, behind the scenes a full blown integration plan was set up and is running.

As employees not immediately involved in the integration, we are encouraged to host or join so-called "Culture Circles", where in small groups - during company time - you talk about a variety of topics. The topics are brought in by the hosts, and this afternoon I will host/mediate a circle on the topic of "Fabrics & Textile Arts".
No idea what everyone will bring to our hour, but I have some samples ready, because basically I hope we'll all talk about our hobbies that have something to do with textile/fabric and such

Alright, but while I'm working my way through all my christmas/holiday related embroidery work, I am also planning a next quilt.

Another Kaffe Fassett Collective/Free Spirit project, this time purchased from The Last Homely House (warning to my future self: more expensive, because it's not shipped DDP).

Yellow/orange-ish 1 inch hexagons, basting was quite easy and fun, and now I just want to see if this is the configuration I want. I like there is some symmetry, but nothing too obvious (I hope).
