In the end this #Metroid title couldn't deliver what I expected. Nintendo decided against the continuation of the successful and challenging Metroid (Prime) formula and provided a casual and action-heavy gameplay experience that may attract new players but disappoint fans of the series. 👎

Finally finished Days Gone, what a magnificent game! If I'd to find a negative aspect, the last part of the game gets a bit rough and forces you to face various enemies, which could be avoided (especially if you adopted an avoidance/stealth tactic).

Days Gone is an open-world action-adventure game developed by Bend Studio and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. Released in April 2019 for PlayStation 4 and later for PC in May 2021, the game is set in a post-apocalyptic world where players control Deacon St. John, a drifter and bounty hunter navigating a landscape overrun by "Freakers," zombie-like creatures created by a global pandemic. The gameplay focuses on exploration, combat, and survival elements, with players able to use various weapons, craft supplies, and upgrade Deacon’s motorcycle, essential for travelling across the vast and hostile environment. Days Gone combines narrative-driven missions with an open world filled with dynamic events, enemy camps, and environmental challenges.
Yesterday I closed my first run of Detroit Become Human. A truly great game carrying a deep message, I honestly don't know why I let it sit in my backlog for that long.

Detroit: Become Human puts the destiny of both mankind and androids in your hands, taking you to a near future where machines have become more intelligent than humans. Every choice you make affects the outcome of the game, with one of the most intricately branching narratives ever created.
If I had to describe Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart I'd probably say it's a fun little battle of chaos. Which is a good thing for a game like this, funny, somewhat hard but not too much and definitely not repetitive.
It's a lot of fun, for kids and ever not-so-much-kids. Go check it out, now!

Hiroki's journey to Yomi and back has finally ended. He struggled till the end between love and duty, but to regain his balance he had finally to say goodbye to his lost love, Aiko, and step back into his vow to protect the people, honoring Sanjuro's memory.
Trek to Yomi finally went into my Finished in 2025 Questlog playlist, right when it started being too repetitive.
Aside from that, it's a great cinematic masterpiece honoring classic samurai films and for this exact reason I played it exclusively on my PC in UltraWide. What a treat!

I'm not a huge fan of the previous games but I must say that this episode mixed exploration moments and action scenes quite well.

Tomb Raider explores the intense and gritty origin story of Lara Croft and her ascent from a young woman to a hardened survivor. Armed only with raw instincts and the ability to push beyond the limits of human endurance, Lara must fight to unravel the dark history of a forgotten island to escape its relentless hold.
The collectors threat has been defused and now the whole universe can sleep peacefully, but at what cost? Commander Shephard is left sitting on the bed in his own quarters remembering the last sweet hours with his beloved Tali'Zorah. But he has no time to mourn, no time to cry, he has to be the defender of the universe, the reapers menace is still dangling upon everybody's head.
I completed the main story from Mass Effect 2 (Legendary) with a full paragon playthrough, but seems like the story evolved in a way that likely will see a different Shephard in the next chapter: alone, seeking revenge for Tali, bitter and angry.
I didn't expect ME2 to hit so hard on the feelings, definitely one of those good games that like a good book, makes you connect deeply with the characters. Bravo.
