My most athletic character would be Karis Relinda. She's a senior member of the town guard who's come up through the ranks. So she keeps herself fit. Usually walks to the guard barracks in the morning, etc.

#QueerPrompts 12/May/26: Hardest scene to write?

At the moment, it's any scenes between Yaetherim and Naeliya that take place after book 3 - i.e. after they've realised they're in love with each other. Having not written that arc yet, I'm still trying to nail down their dynamic.

#QueerPrompts 14/Apr/26: How much of the world does your story take place in?

I write fantasy whodunnits. Most of them take place in the port town of Alkentoft and the surrounding farms & forests. It's a large town, a regional capital and sits where the south-west border meets the ocean.

#QueerPrompts 5/April/26: What would your character do for a self-care day?

Karis tends to keep to herself. For a self-care day, she'll indulge in her hobby of sketching. She will travel out to a location, usually outside the town with a sketchbook, sit down and draw.

My current WIP has Yaetherim working with his brother, Naeviol, to solve a poisoning case. (Naeviol is the village apothecary.)

They have drifted apart over the last few months. But they understand each other more by the end of the book.

Yaetherim worked with his brother Naeviol, the village apothecary, for a while after he was attacked. So he's got basic knowledge of medicine. He'd nurse whoever was ill, using all his experience.
