Reflections in the pond in Queen's Park on the Southside of Glasgow. Opened in 1862, it was the city's third major public park and was originally laid out by Sir Joseph Paxton. In Victorian Glasgow such open spaces amongst the densely packed tenements were seen as an important part of the city's infrastructure and for the well-being of its inhabitants.
