@rockToamna @HerrPfarrerin cool, das ihr in dem #Podcast auf die abweichenden Positionen der (historischen) #Friedenskirchen Hinweist. Hier eine Anmerkung. Für die meisten traditionellen Friedenskirchen stimmt die Aussage, das sie sich von der staatlichen Verantwortung/Beteiligung fern gehalten haben, weil diese als "weltlich" und "sündig" betrachtet wurden. Das gilt aber nicht für die #Quäker ! Diese hatten in Pennsylvania für ca 80 Jahre eine (sehr liberale und tolerante) Theokratie. Ohne Wehrdienst. Für die frühen Freunde (ersten Quäker), war Christus schon zurückgekehrt und die neue Welt angebrochen (also eine #Endzeitgemeinde). Die Welt war aus dieser Perspektive nicht erlöst, aber "in erlösung begriffen". Das #ReichGottes war angebrochen. Wenn du Waffen gebraucht hast, standest du auf der dunklen, der nicht erlösten Seite der Welt. Warst du wehrlos, dann "wandeltest du im Licht" und warst Teil der Neuen Welt. Das ist der theologische Ausgangspunkt.
