I did not understand why this article was entitled "Goodbye to Everest." Thought it was about climbing new, uncharted mountains in a different range. Nope, it's about the possibility of mining a large, newly discovered lithium deposit above 18,000 feet (5,500m) near the Qomolangma nature preserve — and Everest.

Here's an example of #China using cinematic feature films as #nationalist #propaganda. It's a very well done, high budget film. You can see how dramatic films like these are used to promote nationalistic pride. These state approved propaganda films are disguised as entertainment & are designed to brainwash citizens, over time.

It's really not that different than how the USA film industry creates a lot of state approved propaganda films that aid/abet nationalistic BS too.
