Note, FYI¹:

The Queensland Criminal Code Act 1899 as amended spells out the exact phrases that are not permitted.

Section 52DA(6)(a) and (b).

This is, IMO, a mistake, as the Act does NOT state that similar phrases or phrases of equivalent meaning are also prohibited.

The Act does this for symbols, which it leaves to regulations to describe, but not for words. Section 52C(1)(c).

This means one could, carefully, change the phrases used (as in some of the examples shown in the images) without attracting the threatened penalties.

I have a suspicion² that, because the Act ONLY specifies the exact English-language wording and doesn't refer to other languages, one could simply write/speak the phrases in another, perhaps uncommon, language; probably not Hebrew though.

This law also puts ebike and scoots onto public roads, where they're speed limited to 25 km/hour. I know this will discourage a lot of people from active transport because it's so dangerous. But once the law is in place it's effectively going to impose a 25 km/h speed limit for all motor traffic travelling with ebikes and scoots as well.
