My first entry to #30DayMapChallenge #Points and it's a two for one. Same data on both but different background images from 1976 and 2019.
Used the #QGreenland package in #QGIS

This looks really helpful, if you're interested in polar science, especially #Greenland + #Antarctica, I can only recommend the #QGreenland + #Qantarctica packages.

They're extremely useful for planning field research and making beautiful maps of data...

Attending the #QGreenland #QGIS user workshop in CPH today, I learn that in the US it is the federal year of #OpenScience.

#FAIRdata is the future and something I'm pushing hard on at DMI too - we already have #FrieData, time to make our #ClimateData #FAIR too.

Interested in and/or working in #Greenland and/or the #IceSheet?

There is a beautifully produced and easy to use GIS tool called QGreenland that will make your life much easier.

The #QGreenland team are currently organising a series of workshops both in person and online for users and those interested in learning about using #QGIS #GIS to help them get to grips - financial support available!

Details.

A quick #15MinuteMap for #30DayMapChallenge - it's back to #QGreenland to show the #Network of #AWS on the #IceSheet, including #PROMICE + #GCNet (now also part of #GEUS operated Promice). White dots indicate human settlements.

And I should post a link here to the awesome #QGreenland #QGIS package developed by Twila Moon and team at #NSIDC

Check it out, download and play with it from here: https://qgreenland.org/
