Friend phoned hospital to rearrange an outpatient appointment because of going on holiday. 1 person cancelled appointment but couldn’t rebook because the booking person wasn’t there. A booking system that requires 2 people for data adjustment?!?!?!?‽
#QEH #KingsLynn
@blackbulldog @ster @RichardJMurphy yes, and further, if we do invest more finance into the #NHS it has to be spent wisely and in the places where it's most needed: beds, specialist doctors, more nationally connected services, comms between GP/consultant, consultant to consultant to speed up waiting times/to get patients to the correct services faster. Not on further mid-level management and bureaucratic wastage. So many buildings are falling apart too (for example, #QEH King's Lynn, #Norfolk).
