I've read quite a few articles on qualitative comparative analysis (#QCA), but nothing quite so broad as Charles Ragin's The Comparative Method book. It's a good mix of conceptual & practical, argument for a qualitative/quantitative compromise, and focused on political #sociology examples I'm familiar with. QCA uses a #boolean approach, looking for the combined effect/process of multiple variables upon outcomes.
