Ich habe eigentlich nichts mit #Python zu tun, aber das Rückgrat das die #PythonSoftwareFoundation zeigt wollte ich doch mit einer Spende belohnen.

Um die eigenen #Werte nicht zu verraten, haben sie sich aus einem Förderprogramm zurückgezogen. Das klingt für uns Europäer vielleicht nach keiner großen Sache. Aber in den heutigen USA? Mutig. Lobenswert.

Meine #Spende ist zwar nicht hoch, aber es geht mir ja auch um die Nachricht die ich denen (hoffentlich) durch das Timing sende. Und es wäre cool, wenn die Foundation in diesen Tagen ein erhöhtes Spendenaufkommen verzeichnen würde.

Vielleicht hat jemand Lust (und die Möglichkeit) es mir gleichzutun?

The 1st ever #DjangoCon #Africa held in #Tanzania 🇹🇿 last month faced funding issues and subsequently organizing and logistical problems because the #PythonSoftwareFoundation delayed in deciding to approve the organizers’ grant request.
