Shower thoughts: What if… someone with a brain and contemporary sensibilities started a new non-religion based on science? You know, a quasi-spiritual framework for the rest of us open minded thoughtful individuals seeking meaning and fellowship. I mean, why should the traditional religions have an exclusive hold on that side of our existence? Seems to me like there should be real choice… so I penned the basics of a new approach I’m calling the Neo-Pythagorean Assembly. I know, it’s pretty presumptuous of me, but hey… if L. Ron Hubbard did it, why can’t I? But I didn’t take my inspiration from Scientology. no. In my defense, I’m a compulsive thinker and writer, so I tend to write down whatever is in my head at the moment.
