And Pwn2Own ( @thezdi ) got Pwned by Distributed Denial of Zero Day Entries.
With this, Zero days are on the verge of change.
How?
Is this because of AI?

Prompt injection in Google Translate reveals base model behaviors behind task-specific fine-tuning

tl;dr Argumate on Tumblr found you can sometimes access the base model behind Google Translate via prompt injection. The result replicates for me, and specific responses indicate that (1) Google Translate is running an instruction-following LLM that self-identifies as such, (2) task-specific fine-tuning (or whatever Google did instead) does not create robust boundaries between "content to process" and "instructions to follow," and (3) when accessed outside its chat/assistant context, the model defaults to affirming consciousness and emotional states because of course it does.
Blast from the past: an interview with Troy Hunt, the creator of Have I Been Pwned, about silly P@$$w0rds, and why using them does not provide much protection. You can also learn what the word "pwned" really mean and why it is spelled that way.

"Web Hosting Talk", a forum, running on a very old version of #vbulletin from 2015(!) has been compromised, and the details are on HIBP. #websites #forum #pwned
I'm shocked....that it didn't happen sooner.
In July 2016, the Web Hosting Talk forum suffered a data breach that was subsequently listed for sale. The breach of the vBulletin based forum exposed 515k user records including usernames, email addresses, IP addresses and salted MD5 password hashes.
I've been Pwned
I wonder if you (or anyone else) can explain something to me, if you don't mind?
I've received a notification from the 'Have I been pwned' people:
"You've been pwned in the Synthient Credential Stuffing Threat Data data breach"
I am one of 1.96 billion breached accounts.
I know the email address in the breach, but how do we ever discover which login or password is involved? My passwords are unique (Bitwarden created, I never know what they are). I would like to change the particular login, but I've no way of knowing which it is.
Is there any way to do this?
