I just got a call from a gastroenterologist office. Mom is booked for follow up endoscopy on April 8th at Saanich Peninsula Hospital. I requested that staff who will be dealing with us at Mom's appointment to be masked up. The MOA said that will be respected. I said - Thanks, because I already lost one parent to covid & not OK losing another when it can be prevented if people masked up more. She then said that she understood because her Dad got really sick "when covid was around". I stopped her before she could finish & said - #Covid never stopped & people are still dying & becoming disabled for life from it. She didn't know how to respond for a moment - awkward pause - before agreeing, yeah - it never stopped 🙄

Anyways - it's booked & they better be masked up when we get there. 😷

Yesterday was a clusterfuck of extremely bad news. Today is looking not much better on the shitty news fronts.

In #BritishColumbia #Canada - We haven't really had a genuine #PublicHealth leader for awhile. We have an #Eugenics monster, Bonnie Henry, being paid with taxpayers funds, to kill & disable more citizens, not help us stay medically safer & healthier.

I have to go to the bank to apply for tax-free disability savings account for Dad & then to London Drugs to pickup his supplements, home support health supplies & all the family's medications for January. Going on my scooter. I have anxiety bubbling up already. My hands are sweating. This happens when I have to go to public stores alone; for the past 2 yrs. I hope it won't be too busy. I will be fully masked & gloved up.
