…I think it has more insight as to what he was trying accomplish and also mindset. To me, he’s fragmented. He mentions that he’s paranoid on #MakeThemCry, he’s talking about his Dad having cancer, he mentions on #MakeThemPay that he loves J Cole but he can never forgive him, he has some moments of introspection that I WISH he would have done earlier (specifically doing this instead of his version of #TheHeartPart6 ). I think he also makes a mistake mentioning #TheBirdsDontSing track - I get that he still has problems with #PushaT and #Pharrell but, it just wreaks of not learning the lesson the first time. He has moments all up and down the projects that sound either self-sabotage-y or repetitive. It’s sounds like he doesn’t know where his priorities are, but that doesn’t necessarily mean bad things for an artist.

Considering that he is actively in a lawsuit with #UMG , dropping 3 at one time might be to resolved label commitments for his deal, and if that’s the case, you have to applaud the move…

The “GOAT” Wouldn’t Make This Song Bruh

I recently floated out the idea of curating a playlist of the worst songs I could find from rappers who would generally be considered some of the greatest of all time. I wasn’t sure if I actually wanted to do it at first, but the idea got a lot of attention and support. People were asking me to post it on Twitter when I was done putting it together. Certain artists such as 2Pac or Lupe have songs that I dislike, but none that I felt were excessively unlistenable enough to qualify for this playlist. Honestly, as much as I dislike Drake, I really struggled to find a song from him that felt bad enough for this playlist as well. He has a lot of songs I dislike, a lot of songs I’d even say I hate, but I couldn’t really find any that were like completely unlistenable.
