Because "extraneous forces", such as #Putin, #Thiel, the #ElongatedMuskrat, #Republican #billionaires, #Saudis, etc, need their puppet to be elected so that they have defacto power and control. And even if their puppet of choice, #DonaldTrump, were to die in office, the new #VP choice, #JDVance, would make a perfect replacement.
