William Adams, Anglican minister, on the slothful person, or slacker, of Proverbs 22:13. Ironically, he applies fear of the future to those opposing “anything proposed for the public good.” The slacker says no support from the public or virtuous.

Do we today still have great disdain for slackers, but do we only apply this passage to opposers of projects for the public good?
