The Brew Site#PublicCoastBrewing is turning 10 this year, and is kicking off the year-long celebration by bringing back weekly live music as well as releasing special beers that “are going to be celebrations of the fan and brewer favorites from the last decade.” The brewery starts things off with the return of StackStock Candy Cap Stout and a new (non-alcoholic) Peach Cream Soda.
Here’s a fun #beer to drink for this year-end holiday period: Fluff N’ Good Stout from #PublicCoastBrewing. This limited-edition pastry stout was inspired by the fluffernutter sandwich and was brewed with peanut butter and freeze-dried marshmallows.

#PublicCoastBrewing out of Cannon Beach, Oregon, announced this week that it is bringing on a new Operations Manager to oversee brewing operations—Chad Kennedy, a distinguished figure in Oregon’s brewing scene. Kennedy was head brewer at Portland’s #LaurelwoodBrewing before leaving to help open #WorthyBrewing in Bend in 2012.

Oregon’s #PublicCoastBrewing released a new limited-edition pastry stout this month, inspired by the fluffernutter sandwich (that’s peanut butter and marshmallow) — Fluff N’ Good Stout. It’s brewed with peanut butter and freeze-dried marshmallows and is 9% alcohol by volume.

Summer beers from Cannon Beach’s #PublicCoastBrewing are out, one of which is a collab with Portland-based #SmithTeamaker. The four brews span the gamut of styles from hazy pale to fruit to sour, available in cans and on draft.

#PublicCoastBrewing recently released its first-ever #shandy, incorporating blueberries from the Public Coast Farm to come up with Blueberry Fields Forever. Shandy is traditionally a 50/50 blend of beer and lemonade or lemon/citrus soft drink, though Public Coast’s version tweaks this recipe during the brewing process.
