Mid-life transitions

The past few months have been heavy for many people in the United States, especially families navigating uncertainty about safety, stability, and belonging. My own mixed family has been working through some of those questions, and it has led us to make a significant change. Over the course of last year, my request to relocate...

Does anyone know how I can show the container name in a #Ptyxis tab?

Lukewarm Take: ptyxis is a terrible name for a terminal app. Atleast gnome-terminal tells you exactly what it is.

#ubuntu #fedora #ptyxis

I've been looking at linux terminal emulators and ran some benchmarks with the DOOMFIRE test. Surprised with how good ptyxis appears to be, it leads with 130fps. Ghostty and Wezterm are next, tied around 100fps. It's all overkill once you're over 60fps so far as I understand.

Ptyxis is a great console/terminal. If you're not using it, you're cray cray. ❤️

This #ptyxis terminal looks pretty sweet. I installed it on my #PostmarketOS box, but it was kind of heavy for such a low-power machine. It also didn't seem to come with a fraction of the colour schemes I would want to use and I don't have time to roll them by hand.

But the #podman integration was pretty sweet!
