The Butterfly Orchid has long petals which look like antennae and its speckled brown and yellow sepals look like outspread wings.

I am always thrilled when my #ButterflyOrchid, #PsychopsisPapilio, is blooming. The petals are beautiful in bronze and gold. This #orchid never stops blooming! Bloom stems are sequential, and flowers are produced generally one at a time with the future buds maturing behind the current bloom.
