Finally watched the "Sly Lives!" documentary.

Didn't know that as a young man, Sly Stone was a successful DJ and record producer - all prior to realizing his progressive vision as the leader of a multi-racial, multi-gender psychedelic funk rock band!

So cool to see the interviews with fellow musicians who break down Sly's compositional genius.
