Today is election day. I've not seen much of anything unless I actively looked for it. About 5 days before the election day (today) I understand that the NDP (New Democrat Party) were ahead of the Conservatives by 5 percentage points.

About the same day the Conservatives released their full platform, (apparently they didn't want to release the platform, then give the little bits that they wanted to promote, but wanted to release it in parts ... it doesn't make sense to me, in fact I would call it a "bad faith approach).

Polls are closing in about 13 minutes (if my clock is correct), and typically the first results take about 20 minutes to show up.

It may be quicker, it may be slower, but I wouldn't expect much results.

I have put water on to enjoy a lovely hot beverage, and have a Ricola as I've got enough of a cough that it's a pain.

I may have to grab some cough jelly, if I don't sort the cough out.

I really am not doing this in bits because of a need to for the length, but because I feel I'll be doing a bit as the news develops.
